As near to my heart as wine, women, and song is reading (sick, isn't it?) and this is an ever-growing collection of links to my favorite Author/Books/Reading websites.

If you know any good sites for the Authors/Books listed here please email them to me.

Stephen Brust - A brilliant author who isn't afraid to try something new. His Vlad the Assassin books and his novel To Reign in Hell are my personal favorites. Highly recommended.

The Dragaera Website

The Stephen Brust Fan Page

The Dream Cafe - Brust's own site, including a list of all his books with short personal notes on each one.

Katherine Kerr - Great medival fantasy with an authentic human culture and and excellent treatment of Dwarves and Elves.

The Deverry Homepage

Katherine's Personal website

Anne McCaffery - Author of my favorite series of books, the Dragonriders of Pern. Feel good books that I read when I'm in a funk.

Dragonhold \ Underhill - Personal page of Anne McCaffery
Steve Armstrongs Tribute to Anne McCaffery - Misc info and a gate onto the Pern Webring.

Dennis L. McKiernan - He started out with the Silver Call and the Iron Tower, inspired by Tolkien. Dennis has now found his own voice (something between Tolkien and Heinlein?) and is one of my favorite active fantasy writers.. His book Dragondoom is highly recommended!

His personal webpage - has a list of all his stories, including the "order to be read in" list.

J.R.R. Tolkien - Rather than attempt to index the trillion Tolkien sites on the net I'll just give this one, it will take you everywhere worth going on the subject.
